Woodworking
The HD team has over 30 years of combined experience in woodworking. Our wood shop capabilities are extensive and can accommodate both small, one-off projects and medium to large qty projects for restaurants/hotels/etc.

Sawmill Services
With our in-house saw milling services we have the ability to mill logs to spec to fit the needs of our projects. This both give us the control to get the cuts of lumber that we need and is more cost efficient when compared to outsourcing lumber. Additionally it keeps our sources for lumber local. Occasionally we will take on milling projects for the general public. We do not currently offer on-site milling. All logs must be brought to our sawmill. Rates are $100/hr with a minimum of $500.

Fabrication Drawings
With every custom HD project we provide a set of fabrication drawings for client approval. The drawings include material and hardware schedules, drawer box schedules, plans, sections and elevations. All dimensions are calculated to 1/16”. All finishes are noted. The fabrication drawings stand as an agreement between HD and the client.
Metal Working
Our team has 20+ years of experience working with metal and welding. With the ability to cut, bend, machine and weld we can tackle projects both large and small.

CNC Routing
With The HD shop operates a CNC Router (ShopSabre Pro 408) with a 5’ x 8’ x 12” milling capacity. If you have a project that requires the use of CNC router please feel free to contact us. $100/hr for CNC Routing Services with a minimum of $500.
Finishing
At the HD shop we have the capacity to finish using both traditional hand finish and spray finishes on wood and metal. Stains, Hand- rubbed oil finishes, lacquers, conversion varnishes, waxes, polys: you name it we can make it happen.
Design Consultation
With a BFA in Sculpture and MFA in Product Design and over 20+ years experience in the art and design world, we have the expertise to take concept sketches to fabrication drawings to 3D models to fabrication efficiently and effectively. We can aid in material and hardware sourcing, engineering, and value engineering to ensure your project checks all the boxes.
3D Modeling
As needed we will provided 3D models of projects. The models are an excellent tool to get a sense of what the project will look like before we move into fabrication. Modifications can easily be made in the 3D model to ensure the final product is 100% what the client needs.
